Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern use of TopBox, a customer-satisfaction follow-up service for auto dealerships, and the TopBox website. By using the service you agree to them.
The service
TopBox sends dealership customers a brief satisfaction check by SMS after a service visit or vehicle purchase, routes responses, and alerts dealership management to reported problems so they can be resolved. The service is provided to dealerships; dealership customers interact with it only by receiving and answering messages.
Messaging program
By providing a mobile number to a participating dealership and consenting to service-related texts, customers agree to receive a small number of transactional messages per visit (typically one to three). Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Dealership responsibilities
Dealerships using TopBox agree to collect valid consent for text messaging where customer phone numbers are gathered, to upload only customers with such consent, and to use survey responses for service recovery and quality purposes — not for harassment, discrimination, or resale.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used to send marketing or promotional content, to message individuals without consent, or to attempt to manipulate third-party or manufacturer survey programs in violation of those programs' rules. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any particular satisfaction score, survey outcome, or business result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the three months preceding a claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
